Campus and Facilities

Facilities

Built in 1979, the school's appearance is pleasing and well groomed. Students feel proud of their school and contribute to its cleanliness. An outstanding custodial staff, lead by BSS, John Darling, is always at work making sure the campus is clean, organized and safe.

Providing safe and well-maintained schools is a top priority for the school district. To ensure that all classrooms and facilities are maintained in a manner that supports instruction, a scheduled maintenance program is administered by the district.

Teachers have access to any needed supplies and resources that help them in their work with students. Classrooms are open to allow for teacher and student collaboration and student movement. Students are respectful of the facility and take part in schoolwide activities that support the high level of learning and exciting activities at Farb.

Recent improvements include a newly remodeled school library, a state-of-the-art Science building and Mutlipurpose room as well as a new lunch arbor that enables all students to have their lunch in a shaded area. The school's location is convenient to military housing and established neighborhoods as well as Interstates 805 and 15, and the Mission Valley, a major retail and business area, as well as Naval installations.
