The AVID Site Team meets every other week to discuss the implementation of schoolwide AVID. Their responsibilities are:
- to lead the implementation of schoolwide AVID, including the philosophies and strategies
- to support teachers, students, and parents in their understanding and practice of AVID philosophies and strategies
- to help create and strengthen the college-going culture here at Farb
- to help with professional development at Farb
- to support the AVID elective teachers

This year the AVID Site Team received the AVID Teacher Advocacy Award, one of five awarded in the state of California, for their work in supporting the AVID system schoolwide.
